Minister of Foreign Affairs Delivers Message from President to Algerian counterpart

On 31 July, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians abroad, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, delivered a written message from His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, to his brother, His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Popular Democratic Republic of Algeria.

During his reception, the Minister informed the Algerian President of the greetings of his brother and friend, His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani, and his keenness to strengthen and develop the relations of outstanding cooperation between the two countries in order to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples for further progress and well-being.

On his part, His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, stressed his strong will to develop and strengthen these relations because of their strategic importance derived from the geography and common history of the two brotherly peoples.

He asked his Excellency the Minister for Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazouani.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad of the Algerian People's Democratic Republic, H.E. Mr. Wedady Ould Sidi Haiba, Our Country's Ambassador to Algeria, and Mr. Boulam Boulam, Advisor to the Algerian President in charge of Legal Affairs.
