President of Republic Receives Credentials of Luxembourg’s Ambassador
Nouakchott, 26/07/2022 On 26 July, in Nouakchott, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, the President of the Republic, received the credentials of HE Mr. George Ternes in his capacity as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.The President of the Republic then received the Luxembourg diplomat in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad.
Shortly after the meeting, the Luxembourg Ambassador said he was honored to have presented his credentials to the President of the Republic as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
He added that the meeting with the President of the Republic was an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations and explore ways to strengthen them.
