Spanish Foreign Affairs Minister Visits Juvenile Police Station

On 20 July, HE Mr. Jose Manuel Albares Bueno, the Spanish Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation, paid a visit to the Police Station for Juveniles in Conflict with Law in Western Nouakchott. The Spanish diplomat, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad, and members of the Mauritanian and Spanish delegations accompanying him, received explanations from the Commissioner, Ms. Hindou Mint Mohamed Laghdaf, on the nature of the work of this police station, the number of cases registered, and the effectiveness of the programs implemented within the framework of the rehabilitation of minors, in collaboration with the departments concerned.
